Pro bono – Did you know?

The term “Pro bono” is short for pro bono publico. It is a Latin term that means

“for the public good ” and is used when referring to work undertaken voluntarily

and without payment.

Pro bono is an ongoing function of the

Lakeshore Quilters.

Members are invited to donate 2 quilts per year. (More if you so desire)

These quilts are usually made using

members own fabric.

Occasionally, the guild

receives donated fabric and kits are made available
